Tapanappa was founded by the legendary Brian Croser in 2002. The word Tapanappa is probably derived from the local aboriginal language, and likely translates to “stick to the path”. This is exactly what Tapanappa is doing. Through Tapanappa, Brian is continuing a career-long mission of matching the climate, soil and geology of distinguished sites to the right varieties, and then fastidiously developing and managing the vineyards to optimise quality. Tapanappa is dedicated to producing unique “wines of terroir” from its three distinguished sites in South Australia out of its winery that is located in the heart of the Piccadilly Valley.
