Bella Wines are wines produced for Bella Traders Pty Ltd. Bella Traders Pty Ltd was established in 2003 by three ladies, Cristina, Stavroula and Tania all of whom are beautiful, hence the name Bella Traders (Italian translation for Bella is beautiful) was chosen. The goal of the three beauties was to create a portfolio of wines that were easy drinking, relaxed and not overly complicated.
With the aid of growers from various Australian regions, as well as guidance from a couple of winemakers, the ladies realised their goal with the production of Bella Rosa Rose’ and Bella Bianca “The Alexia”. Both wines are consistent with the wine drinking philosophies of the ladies and have proved to be to the liking of many others as well.
Many years ago four people with a passion for wine turned a key and unlocked a small office perched above a real estate agency in Bondi Junction. With a creak of the door Cellarmasters was officially open for business. The year was 1982, and a simple vision had brought these four together: to share their passion for wine with the rest of Australia.
Of course, much has happened since then. Australian wine has stormed onto the world stage to claim its place. Cellarmasters members now number a staggering 360,000. And more than 28 years on we continue to stay true to that original vision.
Twenty-eight years! That’s quite a milestone! Of course we couldn’t have got there without loyal members, and to say thanks we’ll always strive to provide you with the best wine deals and best service possible.
Griffith Park Sparkling Rose and Sparkling Brut wines reflect the essence of Australia. Fruit driven, full bodied with depth of flavour
they are sunshine in a glass! Elegant, sophisticated, award winning, affordable bubbly.
Hidden Talent Wines is a new wine retail concept, put together by winemakers, of small batches of premium boutique wine. The wines are incredible value and come direct from the producer, much like an on-line growers market. However, these wines are too good to go under the winemakers’ label at this price, so they’re hidden…
As a small winemaker, I know how difficult it is to compete in the current wine marketplace where the pricing is now dominated by the $10-15 range. Hidden Talent Wines gives small producers an avenue to sell their wines directly to you without the need to compromise quality or image.
Unlike the lucky dip of “cleanskins”, we can guarantee that every bottle has been carefully made and selected based solely on quality. These wines normally retail from $25 up to $60/bottle.
By buying these unique batches directly from the winemaker (via the Hidden Talent website), the distributors’, wholesalers’ and big retailers’ margins have been removed. Most of the wine is also dispatched directly from the winery, eliminating double shipping and double warehousing.
At Millon Estate, we are dedicated to Australian wine. It’s what we live for.
We work directly alongside the most experienced and respected Australian winemakers; those that have long and proud family traditions of winemaking.
Millon Estate wines are produced only by those that are passionate about and devoted to crafting wines of exceptional character and ‘terroir’.
We produce limited quantities of Super Premium Shiraz from six of Australia’s premium shiraz producing regions. Each wine is made by a winemaker in that region, a winemaker who has demonstrated the ability to produce outstanding wine. There are no commercial restraints placed on our winemakers in the production of the wine. The brief is simple, buy the best fruit you can and use new oak of your choice. Palmarium (Latin for outstanding), is the name of our virtual winery and Exemplar (Latin for original), is the name we have given to our Super Premium Shiraz. The quantity of wine produced with each winemaker is limited to 10 tons of fruit which produces around 650 dozen bottles.
Vinaceous is the brain-child of wine marketer Nick Stacy and winemaker Michael Kerrigan.
The Vinaceous concept is to produce seven distinctive wines representing seven personalities - men, women, angels, demons, mermaids... and other creatures of mythology!
Vinaceous’ aim was to re-create this on the labels, focusing on fun & provocative imagery, based on theatrical/circus posters from the ‘30s and ‘40s; while the new ‘Burlesque’ Sparkling wine labels pays homage to the ribald dance & culture of this era .
These label designs have been featured in international wine publications, including ‘Wine Labels on Bottle Design’ by Eduardo del Fraile and “The Art and Design of Contemporary Wine Labels” by Tanya Scholes. Of the seven wine styles on offer, some are sourced and made exclusively for Vinaceous by some of Australia’s most talented new young winemakers whilst others are made from our own select vineyards. All are selected from the best regions suited to the chosen varietals under complete control of the Vinaceous Winemakers.
