Description:
Kaesler Wines is home to some of the Barossa Valley’s most highly regarded estate grown premium wines including the ‘Old Bastard’ Shiraz, ‘Old Vine’ Shiraz, ‘Avignon’ Grenache Mourvèdre and ‘The Bogan’ Shiraz. The Kaesler family were pioneers who settled in the Barossa Valley in the 1840’s and planted their first vines in 1893. To this day, Kaesler wines are made from these ancient, dry grown vineyards. The Kaesler vineyards were owned and operated by the Kaesler family from 1893 to 1986. In 1999, renowned agribusiness entrepreneur, Ed Peter and established winemaker Reid Bosward, together with business partners, seized the opportunity to purchase the property. They immediately set about regenerating the famous old vines and creating legendary wines. The team at Kaesler continue to practice regenerative farming techniques to not only sustain the environment but improve it. The results speak for themselves with the wines receiving the highest accolades from around the world.
