The Tate family has been making award winning wines since 1969 when John Tate founded Evans & Tate. He and his son created Evans & Tate to arguably become Margaret River’s most well known winery. During their involvement, they were twice awarded “Most Outstanding Red Wine in the World” at the Wine Magazine Challenge. Our vineyard is located in the heart of the Margaret River region and through years of careful cultivation, we have been able to extract the very best from our vines. Franklin Tate Estates marks a return by the Tate family to their roots with unique, hand-crafted wines.
