Description:

Our boutique vineyard and cellar door lies amidst the hills of the West Tamar Valley wine route between Exeter and Beaconsfield. During the Permian age (286-245 Myr) this part of the earth suffered under a cold, glacial climate. Pebbles and limestone were deposited, which formed the rolling hill country and created a unique terroir for our vineyard. Clean fresh air, sunny north facing slopes, and careful attention to detail enables us to grow premium fruit from which our cool climate speciality wines are hand crafted. The name Winter Brook comes from the brook which divides two parts of our land in winter time. The tree resembles the northerly wind; the perfect condition for grape vines!
