91 points - Red berries and nut like hints on the nose. Palate has quite some structure and fine filigree like tannins and is faintly chewy. Acidity is a little forward. Airing smoothens much of the bumps out, the wine being able to resolve itself better in the mouth, especially the finish, which ends more finely.

93 points - Blackcurrant, dark berry, toasty spiced cedar oak, dark chocolate and a slight mintiness. It’s medium to full bodied with open weave fine grained grainy tannins and additional savoury tobacco flavours. Has length, style and arguably too much crunchy tangy acidity, although it’s fairly certain that its best days are before it.
