93 points - Deep inky black red. Driving ripe black and blue fruit aromas, spicy and fragrant. A real mouthful of wine, this is decadent, ripe, opulent and all those other words. Big, bold, textural with fine dusty cocoa powder tannins. A long term wine that needs time to lose that primacy and develop more secondary complexities. There’s a certain tightness in the finish that suggests that this will unfurl and improve with time.

Tasted on Tue, Nov 1, 2022.

A barossa cut Cabernet indeed. Crowd pleaser.
