92 points - Pale gold. Nose shows crisp pear, cream and pastry. On the palate fruit expressed nicely, highly concentrated. Attack a powerful supporting acid structure. There's a really strong minerality too lending a bitter voice to the proceedings. This viognier comes on strong. Finishes on hints of dried apricot and lychee as it warms up. Complexity grows with time in the glass. Layers of different fruit appear. Spicy ginger.

Tasted on Fri, Sep 24, 2010.

Apricot is there. Better when it's at medium temperature - not too warm but not too cold. Intruiging multi-layered palate emerges, with a sudden burst of apricots. Very good! Great varietal expression.

Tasted on Fri, Sep 24, 2010.
