<p><b>92 points</b> - Pale gold. Nose shows crisp pear, cream and pastry. On the palate fruit expressed nicely, highly concentrated. Attack a powerful supporting acid structure. There's a really strong minerality too lending a bitter voice to the proceedings. This viognier comes on strong. Finishes on hints of dried apricot and lychee as it warms up. <p><b>90 points</b> - Light pale white. Crisp pineapple aroma. Oily, could have a tad more acidity to give it umpf. A tad too bitter. But very enjoyable! Apricot is there. Better when it's at medium temperature - not too warm but not too cold. Intruiging multi-layered palate emerges, with a sudden burst of apricots. Very good! The palate is silken, with the wine displaying a full bodied palate weight and a lengthy finish. More time will see the wine open up and display even better.
