88 points - Peppery tannin and blackberry nose. Blueberry and raspberry palate. Very fruit sweet, reminiscent of Californian Zinfandel. A tad unbalanced, with a sharp acidic edge. If it wasn't for that it would be better. Quaffable. Later with food: improved balance. Came up a point. Good with tomato based pasta. Highlights all the details in the food and cleanses the palate. Exactly what one wants with food.

88 points - Medium to dark red with a hint of purple. Juicy, fruit and spice driven nose, red fruit aromas, it smells very new world. Soft palate, generous with fine soft tannins, pleasantly juicy with a distinct clove and dried herb note. Good line and decent persistence. Plainish but competent and well made. Superb with tortellini in artichoke and tomato sauce. Just so complementary and harmonious with the food.

92 points - Very nutty, mealy nose, toasted peanuts. Intense. Full generous palate, good concentration and lots of depth. A little 'raw' tasting, as if it is a little immature at this stage. All dimensions, such as acidity and fruit are bold and adolescently vital. Would improve once everything integrates. Long though and clearly shows promise.
