Palate has creamy texture with apricot hints, a mineral undercurrent with the tiniest edge of acidity reining it in. Intense, saline, citrusy and lees derived flavours on the palate. Firmly structured yet showing grace, this is a very powerful pinot noir. It exhibits an x-factor, the flavours veering from the savoury, meaty, venison and kirsch characters to juniper berry.
