<p><b>90 points</b> - Beautiful ripe aroma of dark fruits with coconut and spice. Great balance with plenty of fruit and acidity along with well integrated tannins showing some grip and wonderful length. <p><b>93 points</b> - Medium to dark colour. Smoky berry smell. Raisin. Lovelly mouthfilling texture. Slightly creamy. Spicy. What a racy wine! Perfect oak integration. Leaves you with a bang of spice, slowly fading away. Wow!</p><p>Tasted on Fri, Jul 10, 2009.</p>

<p><b>91 points</b> - Smokey intense barrel nose (some raspberry?) Very savoury, evoking bacon - also faintly musty - like a dank cellar, maybe a problem with the bottle. The cork was quite delicate and fell apart during extraction. Definite aromas and flavours of dried raisin with a certain sweet reminiscence. quite a deep toffee red colour. Light bodied with quite a dry palate providing a floor for the mouth filling palate leaving a lingering almost salty finish. It's almost port or sherry like. Had it with some Buche D'Affinois, but it was most definitely not a good pairing. The wine accentuated the mould characters.</p><p>Tasted on Fri, Mar 6, 2009.</p>

<p><b>90 points</b> - Cork very fragile, broke in half on opening. Brown slightly translucent colour. Raspberry aroma coming out of the bottle. Soy raisin flavour. Beautiful integration. Very balanced. A bit like savoury Pinot noir. Fills out the entire palate. Long finish, keeps going after minutes. A bit like port or sherry. Over the hill, but still nice.
