This needs time, and isn't showing as well as the Les Folatières tonight from the same producer and vintage. Very impressive though!

96 points - Light gold. Some lees characters on the nose; driving and effusive aromas. Palate is great, focussed and powerful, with some good buttery malolactive influence that isn't overbearing. There is delicacy and finesse here. Poise. Fascinating to taste these Burgundies against the new world examples: there is a seamlessness, fluency and grace in the Burgundies that isn't present in the new world styles.
