<p><b>89 points</b> - Distinct dried herb nose: dried thyme. Medium bodied wine on the palate with lots of natural tannins, racy acidity keeping it fresh. A but lean on the fruits, there are hints of cherries lingering around. If there is an improvement one would wish for a bit more fruit weight. But as it is it’s a lovely pasta accompanist that is perfectly serviceable. Definitely needs food. Good value for a Chianti Classico in Australia.</p><p>Tasted on Sun, Feb 26, 2023.</p>

<p><b>90 points</b> - Medium red. Faint dust on the nose with intense cherry. Classic expression. Vibrant and properly ripe fruit, with the cherries at the forefront. Classic Sangiovese. There are fine dusty tannins which need a bit of time to open up, and food to bite into. Lovely food accompanist. This is not a particularly complex wine, but harmonises perfectly at the dinner table without intruding. <p><b>89 points</b> - Medium red. Juicy cherry aromas intermingled with dry woody spices. Initially quite tannins, dusty, firm and grippy, it softens with a bit of airing and food.
