In the mouth very smooth, balanced tannins and and a tiny flash of bitterness at the end. Superb value for money aged Central Otago Pinot at this price. (It's still available at Thorndon New World, presumably as part of the receivership sale, for less than we picked it up at! We need to get some more, stat!)

Tasted on Sat, Feb 27, 2010.

Not as immediately approachable as some of the Central Pinots, but really good with food. Sadly, the venerable William Hill Winery is in receivership, which is probably why this turned up as a special at the supermarket. A great value Central Otago Pinot at this price.

Tasted on Sat, Oct 17, 2009.
