92 points - Medium dark red purple. Red berry nose, pencil shavings. Palate is well integrated and quite seamless. There is varietal character in the graphite notes, intermingled with raspberry. Denser than a graphite-raspberry Pinot noir eg in the Central Otago mold. Fine acidity on the finish, hinting at carbonation. Not overly tannic, making this a very drinkable medium to full bodied wine and versatile accompanist with stewed and grilled meats.

Tasted on Sat, Oct 16, 2021.
