92 points - Pale yellow. Lemon balm nose, some herbs. Palate shows lemon aromas with nougat/almond notes. Reminiscent of gin gin grapefruity styles from Margaret River. Good acidity counteracting the subtle butter context. Slight bitterness on the way out. Very good wine. Give it a bit more time.

Tasted on Wed, Apr 7, 2021.

94 points - Medium light gold. Very restrained on the nose, hints of salted Brazil nut, certainly not fruity. This must be at close to room temperature to be enjoyed fully. It’s firm, with good structure and phenolic grip on the finish. Powerful acidity in a glove, palate is somewhat lemony, juicy and ripe. Tightly wound, it seems quite latent still in need of more time. Peppery, spicy nuances, seems rather cool climate in style and yet powerful. Gin gin clone?

Tasted on Wed, Apr 7, 2021.
