Palate takes an hour or so to open up. At first quite sharp, slightly out of whack with vegetal flavours, stalks. Later: confectionary sugar comes through. Faint Red fruit. Restrained wine. Drink up.
After 2 hours: keeps getting better. Fruit expresses itself more. Clearer cherry aromatics. Am I judging this prematurely? Perhaps this needs just another five years to flourish? Not sure.
