Quite well rounded due to the barrel treatment. A balanced quite soft style of Sauvignon. Goes nicely with sweet and sour pork.

Tasted on Mon, Jun 28, 2021.

89 points - Light gold. Some smoky, roasted nutty, barrel ferment influences on the nose along with musky, melon fruit aromas. Somewhat unusual. The palate is nicely, full flavoured, barrel work obvious, with good coverage that penetrates to all corners. There seems to be a smidgen of residual sweetness here, along with a tingly, lime sherbet like acidity. A fascinating look at a winemakerly style.

Tasted on Mon, Jun 28, 2021.
