93 points - Medium dark red purple. Restrained aromas, charcuterie, meaty, cherry notes, spices. Medium bodied, charry characters, good ripeness and poised, lightness and gentle concentration. Quite quaffable, and excellent with the sirloin tonight.

94 points - Deep bright purple red. Complex and subtle nose, oak and biscuit and herbs and red currant. Dense yet medium bodied, very good fruit sweetness, oak is fluffy and well integrated. Hints of bovril. Can see why these are gran reserva, due to the brightness of fruit.

92 points - Deep purple red. Dense nose of earthy tones as well as black and blue fruit with hints of oak. Medium to full bodied, very savoury in style, hints of spice and strangely even apple. Very dense tannins, not ready to drink. Needs quite some time still. A little bit staid on the finish.
