<p><b>94 points</b> - Deep red purple. Fragrant earthy, rich almost bakery like tones on the nose, a little fruitcake-y, hints of coconut. Built and firm on the palate, this was initially quite tannic and perhaps a little rustic, but with food, this has transformed into a lovely fruit sweet but still firm wine, tannins gripping the teeth a little more gently. <p><b>96 points</b> - Deep inky purple black. Dense spicy, peppery nose, blackberry, cassis, meat and salami like complexities, quite a pure cabernet nose. Beautifully polished palate that is seamless, rounded with wonderfully fluent tannins. Supple, almost syrupy, showing excellent amplitude, depth and length. Persistent with a big finish.
