<p><b>92 points</b> - Light gold. Some free sulphur on the nose, crisp and refined. Lemon aromas, also some baked goods, salted butter. <p><b>92 points</b> - Dark brooding purple, with hints of old brick red starting to emerge at the edges. Exuberant perfume emerges from the glass: dark berries, mulberries, leafy tones in the background. Chocolatey palate with a little heat and numbing spices. Full on blockbuster style. Could dial in a bit more elegance. This is a crowd pleasing winter warming shiraz going full throttle. Needs some grilled meat with it, or another decade in the bottle.
