<p><b>94 points</b> - Deep red purple. Very tightly wound on the nose, hints of mint and leaf, dark plummy fruit and earth, graphite and coal dust. Needs time to air and open up. Medium bodied with good intensity and vibrancy of flavour, quite gripping, coal, char and smoke nuances. Drying fine tannin. Lovely. <p><b>94 points</b> - Medium dark red. Soy, mushroom. Mineral iron / blood character. Spices: pepper. There is a layer of cherries on the palate but supported and driven by the mineral iron core. An hour later: fully opened now. Superb drinking and maturity. Still fresh cherry aromas while the iron blood is equally present. Reminiscent of top Chianti.</p><p>Tasted on Sat, Mar 13, 2021.</p>
