95 points - Dark medium purple with hints of red. Nose has a bit of nail polish, followed by complex spices of nutmeg, clove, bay. Liquorice. Palate opens either mulberries. Ripe fruit, full bodied. Then a kaleidoscope of spices come out: clove, bay leaves. And that liquorice. A sweetish fruit misleads the witness into believing this is a Shiraz. Alas, a Cabernet it is.

95 points - Medium dark purple red. Leathery, savoury notes on the nose, very tertiary, dried herbs and spices. After a couple of hours in the decanter, the palate is released from its firm, closed, densely woven framework of tannins, deep set blueberry, blackberry flavours emerge. Very good, there is detail and interest here. Lengthy finish. This is very much a food style. Very good!
