At 9 years of age, I was a bit concerned that it might be over the hill. Far from it. It is fresh, juicy, long and intense. It is tasty and very drinkable, but a bit sweetish and lacking in mouth weight, structure and depth. After having a few ordinary to midling pinots, this is a real stunner that is drinking really well right now. Classy yet very accessible. Sweet raspberry notes, hints of Christmas fruit cake, spices. Easy to drink.     <summary type="html">&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;92 points&lt;/b&gt; - Interesting nose of pepper, spices and red fruit - a bit like mulled wine. Palate well balanced with good acidity to carry it and lots of oak for structure. Lovely fruit driven wine that drinks nicely now but can likely age for a while too. There is burnt tyre as Christopher points out, but I think it doesn't detract.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Tasted on Thu, Dec 11, 2014.&lt;/p&gt;</summary>

    <summary type="html">&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;80 points&lt;/b&gt; - Nose and palate had an off-putting burnt rubber element. Palate was overly fruit sweet upfront. Disappointing and the least of a group of a dozen or so wines on display from nearly as many makers.
