Medium bodied, good drive and succulence framed by strong grippy tannic structure. Slightly straightforward again, hasn’t the complexity of the other French reds tonight.

Tasted on Wed, May 13, 2020.

92 points - Medium to dark red. Dusty cherry nose. The palate shows nice chaffy natural tannins that one expects from Nebbiolo. Lovely acidity balancing the wine and keeping it quite medium bodied and alive. Earthy, herbal elements too. Perfect wine with spaghetti bolognese! The pasta cuts through the tannins and leaves nice dried herbs, oregano and meaty notes on the palate.
Day 3: significantly improved. Tannins have smoothed out. Tar and cloves. Medium length. Huon is right, needs another two or three years in the cellar. Came up from 91.

Tasted on Sun, May 10, 2015.
