93 points - Medium purple red. Highly aromatic nose, rose and dried flowers, perfumed, hints of spice and smoke. Medium bodied, lifted acidity but with somehow good focus and flavour. A formidable structure. Cherry spirit notes. A chaffy, chalky, powerful finish. Would be exciting to see what the future holds for this wine, allowing it to build complexity.

Tasted on Fri, Apr 24, 2020.
