93 points - Deep medium red brick. Perfumed, rose petal and florals, spices. Plush and velvetty on the palate, lovely perfumed character lingers. Complex woodsy notes, touches of herb. Firm and dusty, this has that structural nebbiolo character that is at once tannic and also powdery and soft.

95 points - Medium red brick. Concentrated, dense aromas, complex and involving, sanguine. Gorgeous, flowing fruit, the core is superb, ripe and powerful. Tannins are framing and firm, but harmonious and melded. Fabulous.

96 points - Medium red with a touch of purple. Incredible nose, some fly spray, blue and black and red berry fruit, leaping from the glass, candy floss and spices. Full to medium bodied, bold and powerful. Phenolic grip is there keeping it in balance. The core of fruit is quite amazing.
