93 points - Yellow grey, some development on the colour. A broad nose of peaches. Fully flavoured, quite some oak. A worked style. Not overly complex. Quite nice with food. Probably at a good stage of development. Not sure this will go much further. Day 2: wine has improved markedly. I stand corrected, perhaps this wine has quite some time to go! Oak far better integrated into the stonefruit. Good astringency. Came up for my 92.

92 points - Bright gold. Attractive wheat, butterscotch and mealy aromas. Buttery flavour if showing a little bit too much fuzzy phenolic grip from stalks. A bit of a strange, sweet, sour balance, this seems quite worked. Needs food to cope with the tannin and evident oak. Next day: what a striking difference; tasted with cheese, the wine is now very good and sympathises with the Langres washed rind cheese tonight. Raised the rating to 92.
