<p><b>90 points</b> - Dense black cherry aromas with sappy, stemmy, stalky undertones. Roast venison too ha! Plenty of acidity and rather firm tannins. Quite a commanding spicy yet oddly stale presence in the mouth. The austerity seems to smooth out with some airing. That is to say that it improved with time. Strangely serious ominous wine to taste.
