89 points - Medium purple red. Savoury, dried spice aromas, even a hint of truffle. Soft and medium bodied on the palate, nice lush fluffy tannins with an inset core of pleasantly just ripe red berries, an umami component. Flavours are simple, gentle tannins on the finish. Quite a delicate, elegant style with touches of fruity modernity.

Palate is medium to light bodied, very developed but beautifully driven and intense red currant notes. Good acidity, quite frisky. Good energy, and lovely fruit still.

Delicious palate, totally integrated, there's a certain richness and opulence still, velvety, cassis and blackcurrant and blue fruit, spice and still has some vibrancy. Great aged wine.
