<p><b>93 points</b> - Purple black. Lovely nose of earthy thick blackberry with a savoury black pepper edge and an acid lift. Palate is full and voluptuous with very good weight. Impressively big punchy flavour, black pepper, coffee beans, leather. Nice complexity. Great palate coverage especially good back palate. Meltingly fine tannins. Good line and long finish. A very good wine. 2nd day: burnt caramel flavours to finish.</p><p>Tasted on Sat, Oct 23, 2010.</p>

<p><b>92 points</b> - Amazing nose! Blackberry. A powerful wine, plenty of impact on the palate with good acid backbone, creating lots of zing. Deep dark purple. Wonderful balance.
