<p><b>84 points</b> - Mineral nose, somewhat subdued. Citrus notes as well. The palate oily, thick and herbal. Some varietal expression. But the negatives are a lack of balance. It's just a tad too bitter and too acidic, lacking the unctuousness of the best Northern Rhône examples of this blend. <p><b>83 points</b> - Bright gold. Nose is distinctly minerally and buttery in the marsanne mould. Palate follows through quite buttery and has a strong undercurrent of bitterness. Needs some more lightness. It's quite heavy in the mouth.</p><p>Tasted on Fri, Jun 4, 2010.</p>
