Very good. Nice freshness despite the strength of the wine. That said, not sure if this spanish-cum-madeira style with its exposure to oxygen is my cup of tea.

Tasted on Tue, Aug 18, 2009.

Palate shows coarse tannins again quite sweet raisined characters. Finish is unremarkable. Given that Halliday rated past vintages 93-94, perhaps there's something wrong with this bottle eh? Either that or I'm way off base

Tasted on Tue, Aug 18, 2009.
