90 points - Dark medium red. Raspberry cherry nose with a woodsy undertone. Fine smooth tannins, almost creamy now. Hints of dust. Lovely medium to full bodied wine that is drinking smoothly. Nicely matured. Not much complexity here, but nice drinking and good food match too.

90 points - Deep purple red. Minty, red raspberry, cherry, jubey aromas. Soft and integrated, velvety tannins, somewhat straightforward, fruit driven. A pleasant red showing age and integration.

94 points - Bright, pellucid gold. Candle wax, lime and lemony aged characters on the nose, attractive, smoky reductive notes. Aged tones follow through on the palate, it’s quite chalky, driving with good intensity and focus. Very good drinking, at its prime, perfect with the soy, lime and ginger grilled swordfish tonight. Zippy on the finish.

93 points - Greenish electric colour. The nose is greeted by lime blossom aromas with aged mealy tones. The palate follows through with an good acid balance, albeit the acid is not as detailed and finessed. A superb example that will appeal to lovers of this style.

94 points - Medium to light yellow. Aged notes in the nose, hints of cooked fruit and spice; attractive to sniff. Suggestion of sweetness, quite charming with yellow grapefruit, lime characters, starting off luscious and supple with a backbone of citrusy acidity. Development characters, toast and lemon. Excellent vitality, it leaves the mouth zinging.

90 points - Pale gold. Traces of lees and grass, melon aromas. Tropical fruit characters on the palate, some yellow grapefruit, mandarin rind. Bright acidity, minerally and chaffy.

94 points - Cherry nose. Palate shows hints of cloves and other spices with plum / cherry fruit. Tight dense tannins. Will age for another decade or so. Medium to full bodied, with superb acid balance.

94 points - Dark purple red. Dense rich nose, earthy, loamy, spiced, cloves, a lick of sulphur. Rich, full bodied and very tight and compact. Needs time to open up. Seamless and very smooth, touch of lovely fruit sweetness perfectly balanced with the oak treatment. Some finesse on the palate, but also with this impending power.

94 points - Blueberry and blackberry nose. Whiff of coconut / vanilla oak. Black and concentrated colour. Minty, dark character. Oak still strong, providing good structure. Black pepper and spice. Very enjoyable indeed. Tastes best after an hour. Will age well for another decade or so.
