<p><b>93 points</b> - Deep inky purple red. Nose shows some iron filings, also toasty oak and spices, bourbon aromatics. Dense and full bodied on the palate, good stature and tension, there is enough acidity here to separate out the various layers of flavour. Smoky, sooty, earthen tones surrounding a cassis core.
