93 points - Medium dark red purple. Complex, barnyard characters, leather, spice and tobacco on the bouquet. Medium bodied, blueberry flavours, the tannins slightly gravelly, acidity bright and alive. All very classically Langhorne creek. Well aged, cleansing acidity on the palate. Very good with the pan-Asian food tonight, surprisingly. I’m guessing it’s the acidity, structure and medium bodied nature that lends itself to this sort of food.

93 points - Medium to dark red, a bit of purple at the edges. Nose shows tobacco and fernet herbs. Palate is medium bodied with a good amount of acidity keeping this wine refreshing. Pairs surprisingly well with Asian food. Drinking well now, why wait.

93 points - Dark purple red. Attractive and complex nose of lifted dark fruit and florals mixed with subtle feral, earth and char tones. Medium to full bodied, loads of ripe fruit sweetness tempered by bright acidity. Vanilla spiced oak flavours. Moorish, with a slightly dusty finish. Would be perfect with some flame grilled steaks.

92 points - Dark red, almost black colour. Slightly spritity, Cognac like aromatics. Palate quite tannic with dark fruit, cedar and spice. Needs time. Good with food. Day 3: tannins still quite strong, cedar notes very pronounced. Black fruit. Needs cellaring. Try again in 5 years.
