The Byrne family is dedicated to producing appealing and interesting wines of the highest quality from our home vineyards. byrne vineyards now encompasses every stage of the business of wine, from growing the grapes and making the wines through to selling the wines both domestically and overseas, and as a family we have been involved in the Australian wine industry for three generations. The Byrne family are third generation vignerons since the first vines were planted over 50 years ago. Family owned, estate grown, and sustainably made, Byrne are dedicated to create wines of new interest, regional typicity and consumer appeal. With over 400ha of vine plantings, from the cool climate Clare Valley to Scotts Creek near Morgan and across to north of Waikerie. Our wines are made by Peter Gajewski and Master of Wine Phil Reedman. With international acclaim, many award winning wines include the brands of Byrne, Antiquarian, Thomson Estate, Scotts Creek, Devlins, Pairings, Von Rieben and the newest developments in Vine Dried and Field blends. Our impact on the land and water resources has been recognised and we continue to use sustainable methods and practices in our vineyards, wetlands and wines to reduce our footprint and give back to our community.
