<p><b>93 points</b> - (375ml) dense red colour. Turpentine, paint and resin nose at first. Tar on the palate. Extremely dense, with fine closed tannins at first. Needs a time to open up. Later: much improved, quite seamless yet still formidably dense palate. Good line. Tar and dark fruit dominate. Gets quite balanced, almost medium bodied as it opens up and combines with food. Reminds me of a Barolo: tar and roses.</p><p>Tasted on Sat, Sep 28, 2019.</p>
