90 points - Medium dark purple. Blackberry nose. A tiny bit spirity on the palate. Fairly balanced, dark fruit number. Quaffable, if not the most complex. Fruit forward. Oak quite nicely worked into the structure without getting in the way. Coconut oak style, may have a long life ahead.

91 points - Deep crimson in colour with aromas of dark fruit and sweet oak. Also has a hit of leafy, minty smell. Being quite a young wine it needs a lot of time in a decanter to smooth out the powdery tannins but they remain noticeable. Palate of dark fruit, spice and some dark chocolate. It is medium to full bodied and a reasonably dense wine. Overall nice but not special.
