<p><b>96 points</b> - Dark bright red. Complex, again beguiling nose, hard to describe, caramel oak, dried herb. Syrupy yet compact and built, there’s a lovely density and concentration here. <p><b>95 points</b> - Dark red purple. Blackberry nose, a bit jammy. Thick concentration, with the oak making itself felt. Slight alcohol heat. Great balance, with acidity counterbalancing the thick fruit very well. Savoury elements too. Great wine, but outclassed by the Tanunda 100 year old shiraz.
