Beautifully complete wine, seamless, powerful, complex and profound. There is a density and tight knit structure that is rare in pinot.     <summary type="html">&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;96 points&lt;/b&gt; - Dark medium red purple. Cloudy. Dried herbs and dark berry nose. Palate needs a lot of air: decant. Tight. Finely woven tannins. Graphite, almost bitter finish. Blackberries. Dried thyme. Drinking perfectly now.
Later: Meaty, hearty, Forest floor and mushroom aromas. Charred tones. Definitely a full flavour pinot!
Day 2: wow, it’s gone Cola - Fernet Branca. Superb wine, give it another 3-5 years.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Tasted on Sun, Aug 21, 2022.&lt;/p&gt;</summary>

Rich, structural wine, powerful network of tannin, firm, muscular. Succulent, fleshy with sappy finish that lingers. Leather, savoury characters. Very good! Has gravitas. Intensely floral nose, full of dried leaves, undergrowth, black fruit, hints of clove and charcuterie. Needs a while to open up. Compact and powerful on the palate, blackcurrant, tobacco, herbs. It is concentrated and focussed. Tannins still grippy but on the verge of softening. Green pepper. Long, very powerful and complete. Very forest floor mushroom nose, definitely on the graphite / dried blood iron side of things. Palate coverage is substantial, with acidity core giving it length and depth. Dried thyme.
