Nice body and palate weight, quite built but with a juicy core of sweet fruit, sweet clove characters. Persistent. <p><b>92 points</b> - Medium dark purple. Beautiful nose of cassis. Classic flavours at work here, bordering on blackberry with ample fruit ripeness. Medium to full balance. Drinking very well now. Fruit forward style. Huon says it reeks of American oak. But after it’s been open for a while it tastes quite balanced to me.
