<p><b>90 points</b> - Deep bright red purple. Quite a savoury, spicy nose, earthy, later after airing, a smidgen of blue fruit. Softly textured on the palate, gentle and velvetty. Fine tannins. <p><b>89 points</b> - Medium red. Palate shows fruity cherry and a bit of graphite. A medium to lighter style, quite quaffable on its own and a versatile food accompanist, eg with a bread, ham, cheese. There is a vervy acid line at play here. I stand corrected on ‘graphite’: as it airs, it becomes obvious that quite a bit of stems have gone into this.
