96 points - Dark purple, glass staining. Nose reeks of iron, blood, graphite in the foreground with blackberry in the background. Earthy tones and texture hit the palate, with raspberry / blackberry in singing clarity. Very fine tannins. Outstanding wine.

Tasted on Fri, Aug 23, 2024.

95 points - Dark medium red purple with cloudy tints. Looks unfiltered. Blackberry nose with quite some mineral elements. Superb line of acidity running through the palate, bringing the blackberry fruit aromas on the nose into a more raspberry like structure on the palate. Minerality is in play as well: a graphite tone. Finish is falling away a bit. As the wine aired, it grew in length. Also spices and olive notes emerge. Tannins are fine and surprisingly well integrated. The wine might need just a bit more time. Juicy right now, but with great potential.
Came up from 94.

Tasted on Sun, Oct 25, 2020.

95 points - Deep dark purple red. Layered spicy, complex aromatics. Excellent concentration and focus, this is flavoursome, savoury, essency and medium to full bodied, velvety and a good amplitude and palate coverage. It tickles all the way to the corners of the mouth. Spicy flavours with a little phenolic firmness that will integrate with time.

Tasted on Sun, Oct 25, 2020.
