<p><b>94 points</b> - Medium to medium dark red purple. Cherry nose, fine spices: refined, not overpowering. Tobacco leaves interwoven with dark cherries. Elegant wine, drinking superbly now. Tannins well knit already. Just entering the drinking zone. Has another 5-15 years ahead. Later: looking at Huon’s note tasted 3 months ago and looking at the same bottle now, I’m wondering if the wine just needed the extra time and oxygen? Definitely drinking well today. <p><b>92 points</b> - Deep dark purple. Deep cranberry, cassis like aromas, balanced, not overdone with oak. Medium bodied, very savoury, very peppery palate with excellent pure fruit expression. There is a liveliness, fleetness of foot on the palate here. Cool climate tasting, refined finish. A classy wine of a slightly straightforward and leafy.
