<p><b>93 points</b> - Dark deep red purple. Nose is complex and intense with dried spices, sour cherry, ferrous with a hint of sweaty saddle and charry oak. Beautiful density, it shows a lot of flesh, richness yet also quite some firm, peppery, walnutty tannin structure and lifted acidity. There’s a black pepper bitterness, even the faintest lick of volatility. A structural, savoury wine that should age superbly. Would work well with food.</p><p>Tasted on Sun, Mar 29, 2020.</p>
