<p><b>90 points</b> - Mid, full gold. Funky, smoky smells, savoury, autolysis notes, yeasty. Powerful and flavoursome, almost too intense. Lingering bitterness and aged characters. It’s maybe a little too much for me, to the point of being clumsy on the palate. Vibrant and nervy acidity is juxtaposed with the intense flavour. Very lengthy. Just a bit too much of everything, so it lacks esprit. Still, it’s a good wine, I can see what the winemaker is trying to do.</p><p>Tasted on Mon, Oct 17, 2022.</p>
