Palate is medium to full, nicely fleshed out, black peppercorn notes, spices. Needs a long time to open and build stature. <p><b>94 points</b> - Medium red. Nose of dried herbs and tar. Dry palate mouthfeel, owing to the natural tannins at work here. Decidedly savoury medium bodied, with long carry. After 3 hours of decanting and another hour in the glass and decanter herbs open up on the palate. Keep for another 10 years at least.</p><p>Tasted on Sat, Apr 25, 2020.</p>
