<p><b>94 points</b> - Very savoury nose, lots of toasted spices, stalky, dried herb aromas. Palate is similarly savoury, drying tannin, calling for food. Slightly short. <p><b>91 points</b> - At 8 years of age, this wine is still showing as bright and fresh. Some strong tannins were obviously there at first, but are now softening nicely. Savoury, firm and complex, but perhaps a little stemmy and sour, which detracts from the overall appeal.
