92 points - Creamy rich texture. Served very cold initially. Seamless texture on the palate. Noticeable barrel flavours linger: nutty. Terence thinks it’s reminiscent of sherry / manzanilla. Definitely a built style. Reductive at first. Needs air. Steely finish, which I find quite attractive. This is not a viognier in the apricot mold: it’s cut in the ginger mold: Spicy ginger finish. Not the most varietal expression, but a good wine!

Tasted on Tue, Apr 23, 2019.

90 points - Light yellow. Very subtle nose, barrel hints, ginger. Extremely tight on the palate, luscious, dense, rich on the front palate. Restrained with lots of nut and barrel ferment characters, apricot. There’s a dip in the mid palate. Quite attractive, almost Vin Jaune like with oxidative hints. Served too cold though!

Tasted on Tue, Apr 23, 2019.
